  • About Us

It all started with writing a research paper on feminine hygiene and the sustainability and impact on the environment. It is astounding that menstrual products are part of the top trash found in the oceans.

The average woman uses approximately 12,000+ menstrual product items that come in contact to her body for more than 100,000 hours in her lifetime. Given we have choices, we can decide what we put inside our body. But many women and girls do not know the options.

Taboos about menstruation is universal, and menstrual stigma still exists in most societies. This is an obstacle for women and girls in being well informed and have access to options. Already challenged by the physical side-effects of periods, all women and girls need the support and understanding about her period. Menses and menstruation are part of the normal and healthy biological process, and no women and girls should feel embarrassed or ashamed of it.

It is only through openness can we hope for a better environment and life for all women. It is our hope to help in that openness and inform women for better body positivity and experiences.
