What is a menstrual cup?

The early version of a menstrual cup has been around since 1932. A menstrual cup is another great eco-friendly and cost-effective feminine care product that is inserted into the vagina like tampon during your menstrual period.  However, unlike tampons, a menstrual cup is reusable and can last you for few years before needing to replace it. A menstrual cup is usually made of flexible medical grade silicone to hold menstrual fluid. The menstrual cup is used by inserting, removing, emptying, rinsing and reinserting during your menstrual cycle. It is shaped like a bell with a stem, and some stems can be trimmed to fit just right for you.

There are now several menstrual cup brands in the market, and they come in different size, shape, and color. It is always good to do your research and read more information to get yourself familiar with different brands. There are fake and cheap imitation brands out in the market, so beware and read more about menstrual cups regulatory claims. All menstrual cups for sale on Peach Ruby are either cleared or registered with the FDA by manufacturer.
